Sorry for the mess inside the case, but there is no way I'm rounding a SCSI LVD cable! This was my first mod, I was inspired by the great people at VH. My next purchase is a cooler for the IBM Ultrastar, this thing gets so hot I can't even hold it!

Comments  :  My son is 8 years old this is his machine. We built it from scratch. It has a 600 Duron overclocked to 1gig and a Asus A7V mobo. It has a Yellow neon light that is not viewable in these pics. My son did most of the work (he was very closely supervised) and this was our LAN rig.

Case #79

Name  :  Johnny
E-Mail  :  ws_jp@hotmail.com
Site  :  N/A
Case  :  Unbranded
Comments  :  "Duronia...Life at 1155mhz" Duron 800, oc'd to either 1100 (on the KT7A-Raid) or 1155 (On the KT7-Raid running 2.12 Volts) This thing rips. Twin Maxtor 7200rpm 20 Gig drives, Creative Ultra, Soundblaster Platinum 5.1, 256 Megs of OCZ's Rev 3 comp Ram, Sunon 2.4 w 120MM blow hole, FOP 32 with additional 38 Fan blowing cool air from the case side of the chip. You can see the benchies for this at http://wsjp.50megs.com Mad Onion Score is 8725. This chip runs very cool in this system - when benching both boards, neither ran hotter than 36C and the average is 34C or less. Case is from http://www.directron.com and they offer a killer line of cases, too. I will probably put in a window at some point soon.

Case #78

Name  :  Savage
E-Mail  :  bert@tuttefrut.net
Site  :  N/A
Case  :  Unbranded
Comments  :  This is my Amd k6-2 case (not oc). I put 2 Papst 120mm coolers and 2 80mm Sunons just to cool my ex-overclocked 400@575. My mb ran pretty unstable due to a false Irq setting with my Live, so I had to change to an old mb, who can do max 450Mhz :(( I live in Belgium, so I would like to see some more Belgian modders!!!!! :pp

Case #77

Name  :  Blue_Dragon (Terry Meitz)
E-Mail  :  tmeitz@mindspring.com
Site  :  http://home.mindspring.com/~tmeitz
Case  :  Unbranded
Comments  :  Here is my second case mod. I was trying to keep it simple and sleek. The next mod will be radical (blow holes, neon, fan bus, more blue LED's, windows or designs.) It's a PIII-500 OC'ed to 560, 256MB RAM, Adaptec 2940U2W SCSI card with a 9GB U2W SCSI drive, a Yamaha CRW8824S. Promise ATA 100 controller with a 12GB and a 20GB drives. Voodoo 3 3500TV, 1GB Jazz (I painted that also), Intel E-Pro B 10/100 NIC. The inside is messy, so no pics of that yet (waiting to afford rounded cables). There are 8 fans tucked into this beast. one in the PS, One in the front pulling in, one on the proc, Three behind the driver cooler cover, and two Radio Shack squirrel cage fans (that's what I call them) in the back by the proc, ttached with tie wraps and pushing out of the case.
