I wanted to create a new and unique case-mod. Something that has not been done yet. I was trying to stay away from the blue LEDs and plexi-windows. People are definitely doing nice mods with those items, but I wanted to try something else. I wanted to do a mod that no one else has done yet. So I went ahead and modified the first IBM personal PC. The 5150. I figure everyone is in a retro craze currently, so why not go retro with a computer? I managed to hide away an ATX system, with floppies and CD-ROM drive (hidden behind the old disk drives).
AMD Athlon slot 750 at 908, Abit KA7-100 mobo, Cpu runs at 100 to 104 degrees, Hercules 3d profit 32mg DDR, got a blue neon in there too. Had it in the 940's but it was all messed up so i had to come down.
