It took me forever to paint, i sanded and painted.. didnt like it, sanded to metal and didnt like, got some wierd cracked effect in the paint, really sucked, so i sanded to metal again, and finally got the perfect coat. Painted drive, got a custom dvd sticker, yellow *look orange* LEDs in the front.Fans: 80 in back, 92 in front 120 on top and side, all cables black or yellow. Black and white checkered interior... fun, but hard, dripped all over the place really sucked. It certainly doesnt look as good up close ,but it impressed the lan party:) Specs: 1.4 Tbird, 512pc133, Geforce2... nothing special, but it plays Wolfenstein.
Nobody does it like the Apple folks. I have taken the liberty of making some minor improvements. The challenge was to stick a PC Mobo in there without changing the G4's characteristic. Nothing wild, just plain cool.

Hi, this is my very first case mod, it still needs some tweaking because that white DVD player and the CD burner don't fit the colour sceme but if all goes well I get a DVD burner next month. I didn't want to bother changing them if they're on their way out. I designed the logo about a year ago for my gaming clan ( www.xg-clan.com ) and about a week ago I'd thought it would be nice if I made it into a case mod. The whole thing took me about 14 hours, 90 Euros (45 for the new case, 36 for the neons, the rest for a jigsaw, blades, bandaids etc.) and a sore arm.
Painted by TBK crew. One front view shows drive covers as I havn't yet performed the "stealth mod". ECS K7S5A with XP 1700+ water-cooled, 256 MB of OCZ Tech PC2700, Geforce 2 GTS Pro, Soundblaster Live!, Wester Digital ATA133 Drive, Burner & DVD. There is also a toggle on the back I installed to switch the 120mm fan on the radiator between 7v and 12v. With only a Panaflo 120mm and a very quiet psu, this case is almost silent at 7v with a cpu temp of 35 degrees!
ECS K7S5A motherboard, Athlon XP 1700+ water-cooled, 256 MB OCZ tech pc2700, Geforce 2 GTS Pro, SB Live!, DVD and Burner. Almost 6 hours of cutting with a dremel!! I'm going to get it laser cut next time.
The YY Cube is what I chose to mod. It had many advantages. Mainly Lot's-O-Room! (for future mods, drives, what ever). Currently it has a 1.4 Gig. AMD Thunderbird. sitting on a ESS-K7S5A Mobo,(I hate this Mobo) with 1 gig of DDR PC2100 and a G-Force 3 Video card. At some point in the future I plan to replace the Mobo I hate, and get some water cooling. Also I plan to do something about the lame front panel. LOOK OUT! The Borg Cube's will assimilate you.
