This case started assembly the day before a LAN party at my place, when a friend called me up and asked to be in on the fun. I said sure, he asked if I had a spare computer. I did, but that one was already spoken for. However... I had enough parts to build yet another, all I needed was a case... And the milk crate was the first thing to catch my eye.... Hardware spec is a PIII 550, with a GeForce, 256MB of RAM, and a 30GB IDE Quantum drive for storage. And a screaming 4x CDRom. Not a writer. A ROM. Like I said. I built it from what I had lying around...
Watercooled 700MHz Duron (OC'ed to 950MHz). 256MB RAM, GeForce2 64MB AGP, GeForce2 32MB PCI, 2 x 30GB RAIDed IBM DeskStar 7200RPM. Zip-drive and an 8-port D-Link switch.The cube is entirely made out of 2mm aluminum. 40x40x40 cm and divided in two sections; one with the motherboard, hard drives and the switch and one with cd-players/burners, power supplies, waterpump and radiator. The cooling is done by 4 12cm fans. 1 directly over the CPU and one cooling the radiator. Others: cd/burner and zipdrive mounted at the back for keeping the front clean.

400 Tbird, Gainward GF3, ePoX 8k7a, 256meg pc2100 ram, SB Audigy, WD 40gig 7200, Antec sx1040B with a window mod and neon light kit. I put a fan voltage controller (5v/off/12v) with LED's in one of the 5.25" bays. A blow hole is at the top of the case with an atomic fan grill.

Duron 800, 512MB RAM, 30GB Maxtor 7200RPM, 20GB Western Digital 5400RPM, Matrox G450 Millennium, 12/8/32 Acer CDRW, 52x CD-ROM, total of 8 fans, custom paint (need to do my second screen though) window, neon, strobe light inside, makes a hell of noise with the Dragon Orb 3 (7000 rpm). But hey, my idle temp is 24° C and stressed only 29°C :o)
