This is my case. My first mod so far. I have one sound sensitive Blue Neon and a Red Neon Inside. A Digital Doc 5 and ISTORM II which u see on the front. I get watercooling soon, but at the moment the FOP 38 cools down my PC. Got 2 USB on the Side. Specs of the PC are: AMD Thunderbird C 266 Mhz FSB 1.2 ghz @ 1.41 ghz (With Voltage Mod), Abit KT7A Raid, GeForce 2 GTS (ASUS A7700), Maxtor 40 GB HDD, 2 CD ROM Drives (Philips and Acer) and one Slot in (YUPIE) DVD ROM Drive from Pioneer.
The first mod I have tried. Only a simple little mod, 4 4" fans, 2 lights, plexi window, fan bus, and painted it black on the outside and blue on the inside. Server is nothing special just a p200 with 40mb's of ram 2 20 gig drives for the site and a 3.6 gig drive for the OS. Not a monster but gets the job done as a FTP server either way :)
My wooden cube case 20x20x20 inches. Covered in Blue Formica. (Formica is used on kitchen counters) Interior is lined with adhesive aluminum foil for EMI shielding. Removable motherboard tray, CDROM cage and hard drive cage. Hardware: Tyan Thunder 2500, 256MB Crucial Cas 2 PC133 Reg ECC, SBLive! 5.1, Digital Doc 3. Ati All in Wonder 128. 4 Panaflo Fans, All SCSI = 2 IBM U2W Hdd, Plextor 12x10x32 , Nakamichi 5 disc changer, Toshiba DVD drive, Plextor 40X CDROM, LS120 floppy.
Alright....I must say this is one of the best mods i have ever done. I built the entire case for my computer out of clear plexi-glass. It is a Slot A Thunderbird 700 (soon to overclock when i find my OC card), 30GB Quantum 7200rpm, 16x10x12 Yamaha CDRW, 256MB RAM, Voodoo 5 5500 PCI, and a cable connection. Used the drive supports out of my old case and the PSU. I intend to do some more work on this...and sorry bout the pic quality (it was with a $15 web cam).
This is the same case as on teh first page except i have added water cooling and done a sweet flame paint job on it....teh water blocks are poo computers' quality blocks i have two on teh voodoo 5 and one copper on the CPU...its a slot a t-bird 700...i have yet to find my damn OC card...if anyone knows where i can get the OCZ OC card (which they no longer manufacture) please e-mail me...it needs to be under 20 bucks.
ABIT KT7-Raid, 1.1GHz T-Bird, Hercules 3D Prophet II GTS 64MB, SBLive! Only second week Modding but already hooked...
My first case mod... generic AT full tower currently has a K6-II 500 @ 550 Mhz living in it with 128 Megs of RAM, a Diamond TNT 16Meg AGP card, Diamond MX300 Quad soundcard, Intel 10/100 NIC, 2 CD-ROMs, Quantum 2.5G Bigfoot drive, 16" X 12" acrylic window, custom aluminum backplate w/ two 120V wall outlets (switched) and relocated PSU, 2 120mm 24V fans (they're quiet), all light mods yet to come. This is the Mechwarrior machine!
Mod of a Supermicro SC760-A case. PC itself is a lowly PII 350, 2*Voodoo 2s, 192 MB RAM; but soon to be GF3, 256 PC2100 + fast Athlon. I thought it was best to do the case up before upgrading. Case has 5*120 mm Y.S.Tech fans, 1*92 mm Sunon, and 1*60 mm Delta Black Label all connected to 7V/0V/12V baybus.
