This is my first mod. I Know the pics are lousy but my $30 web cam doesn't seem to be performing real great for some reason. The machine is just a backup machine I've been playing with Linux on so nothing special there really excpet maybe the removable drives. The window and light though came from PC Mods, a really good site.
Enclosed are pics of CYCLONE, my Modified case. It has a PIII 850 running @ 1050. It has 2 AC intake fans running with an AC relay, 3 exhaust fluorescent painted fans. Elsa Gladiac Geforce 2 GTS, 256 MB Micron PC133 memory,SoundBlaster Live, ASUS CUSL-2 Mainboard and a GlobalWinFOP38 HeatsinkFan combo. It has dual windows, on the side and on top. For lighting it has a homemade 3 lamp Black light fluorescent device. It also has a regular fluorescent light for working in it. It has a Cool Blue Neon Light on the top window. It has a beautiful 4 cool blue LED's baybus. it is a grand total of 8 High intensity cool blue LED's.There are fluorescent paint accents all inside the case, it is beautiful at night!. The name came from the loud noise the GlobalWin FOP38 makes. It is my first mod but not my last!
Here is another case mod from Alien Media! This design is a "splash of neon!" with some funky gold fleck to jazz up the black case! If your hunting for a cool case, or want some modding tools check out Alien Media at http://www.alienmedia.com.au/cases
This is my very first case mod I have done so far. I'm using a Aopen HX08 Full Tower Casing here and I think Full Tower casing is the best case to mod coz I can make a BIG windows! With BIG fans! but with 1mm thick HX08 metal case here, really need a very hard work to cut them in pieces!
This is my first Mod Case and I'm deaf too... This hardware are: Abit KA7-100; Thunderbird 800MHz (overclocked 960MHz stable, presently using stable at 920MHz core) 15.3GB Maxtor 7,200rpm; 3DFX Voodoo 3 3000AGP 166MHz (overclocked 178MHz core stable); 3com Fast Ethernet 3905BTX; 3com 56k winmodem; Creative Labs Sound Live Value!; Imation CDR 8x20 SCSI (supported 700mb CDR too); 48x SONY CDROM Drive; Floppy Drive. the right side is "AMD Thunderbird" the left side is "AMD on Sunshine with the mountain, end bottom right corner with my signature "wanna bet, none kick my ass, those should buy XBOX, there will be coming soon at the fall! I am going to buy it the XBOX.... MICROSOFT is RULEZ! BUY it not PS2 first... lol...."
Another Enlight 7237mod. Enlarged those tiny holes in the front. Painted it black with a radioactive symbol on one side. The other side has two 120mm fans with metal filters, a window, and an integrated rocker switch for the big fans. I also have a slot fan under the GeForce and an 80mm fan in front. On my Athlon I have a huge GlobalWin VOS32 (not in pic). I also have a blue neon light in the back that you can't see in the pics. Since these pics were taken I've painted the buttons and cd-drives black and done some more touch up painting.
PII 450 128MB RAM. Just an old ammo case I found lying around. I decided I wanted to do a Mil-spec PC so I grabbed my dremel (it took forever! That metal is sooo thick) and started to cut holes for the CD, Floppy, Etc. So far its about 3/4 done. I still need to cut holes for the connectors, and another 5 1/4 inch bay. The only pain in the ass is you have to filp things over to get it all in there. More pictures soon.
Celeron 633@950 on a MSI Converter Card, 256 PC-133 Micron Memory, Asus P3B-F, GeForce 2MX, I-WIll IDE RAID Card with 2 13gig Fujitsu HDDs Striped, SB Live Value, 2 - 120mm Sunon fans in front Bezel, Homemade Dual LED Baybus 12v and 5v. This is a mod that i have been working on for a few months whenever i get some free time. Hopefully will be able to add a few more fans soon.
This is my first mod.. it's a Celeron 333MHz, 128MB etc. Changed those green keyboard leds to red ones. Also check out my cool mouse mod, when you press button 1, a red light appears and a green one when button 2 is pressed. That 12v/off/7v fanbus isn't done yet. I also need to do some blowholes :)
My first case mode. of a desktop laser case Pentium 90 -> 120, 16 Mb RAM, 7x 2.1Gb U2W SCSI IBM with a ADAPTEC 2940 SCSI controller RAID 0 config, 1x IDE 6.4Gb, total of 5 fans 4 of them switchable with dipswitch builfd in front of the case (also switches 4 blue leds to light up the case). 2 Fans force cooling the SCSI disks (far right side of the picture special intake has been made). next to the dipswitches a led row is showing SCSI disk activity 1 led/disk. Temp in 26 degrees C. room temp rises to 30 degrees C.
ABIT KT7, Duron 750, SBLive! 1024, TNT2 and 256MB RAM. Rainbow big tower modded from ugly yellow to an very nice black case. I am now busy on mijn monitor, keyboard, mouse and boxes I'll post it when its done. Hope guys like it.
Tribes 2 is going to ROCK! This is my first painting of a case. I know its not the best but hey... its my first time. Eventualy I'm custom building a plexi glass case. I'll submit the info on it when its complete.
1GHz Duron, ATI Rage Fury MAXX, 256 6ns Micron RAM 133MHz, 16x DVD slot drive, 4x8x32x CD RW, DXR3 decoder, 4.1 channel sound card and far to many speakers, 17" monitor, cool paint job with a few cunning runes stuck at the bottom which invoke mystical spirites that make me invincible at UT, well their bound to aren't they :P All overclocked to smeg, as well as alot more I cant think of off the top of my head. I tryed takeing a pic of this case with a plasma ball next to it but it didn't really come out in the photo, although it did manage to wipe my HDD. In case you are wondering why the drives stick out it is because the ide connectors on my ABit KT7 RAID get in the way, but what you gonna do :) I'll probably paint them when the warranty runs out.
